Leavingby GordonComment by magnetic9999: i really like the use of negative space in this photo. the only thing that keeps it from being worldclass is the sharpness or lack thereof |

The composition, while non-traditional, is good, but I think you could get the same effect with 1/3 less negative space. A faster shutter to freeze the man would be my personal preference. |

Leavingby GordonComment by chariot: I kinda like this image. I like the dead space. I think you had a good idea here. The leaving person should have been in focus though. Also, for this challenge I would prefer to see more people in the picture. |

Leavingby GordonComment by AnAUTiger: Id like this if it was sharper or more blurred to show the movement. Seems too much in the middle ... almost like a mistake. I know you were not going for that, but that is the impression I get |

Leavingby GordonComment by Kimbly: I like the fact that the guy's suit is so monochromatic, and that he's looking off outside the frame. a little bit of motion blur on his leg, arm, and head emphasize the movement. hard to tell if the floor is grainy, or just mottled in color (or both). |

Leavingby GordonComment by hokie: What can I say. You take a big risk with a photo like this on a site like this. Congratulations. Near perfection. I think if you could have gotten a stronger shadow effect from the subject you would have been one of my favorites. As it is you and "Wave Watching" are fighting it out for my last top 10 spot. Top 11 for sure. |
