Stetson Silhouetteby GordonComment by karmat: That's a cool shot. I think I understand why you left the top window in, but I think I would have liked it as well, or better, with it cropped out. Love the silhouette. |

squAreSby GordonComment by bil99: Well those certainly are squares :)
Suggestions: I think if the camera was closer to the surface, but keeping the same angle, and the DOF was a bit larger it would have helped. |

squAreSby GordonComment by calaille: Smaller aperture (Larger DOF) and uniform lighting from front to back would make this one my favorite! 8 |

Stetson Silhouetteby GordonComment by Anachronite: the hat and man are super strong in this shot. that power makes us forget about the windows, which is what the contest is about |

Last Stop in Lifeby GordonComment by timj351: Gordon, I thought for sure this would be the winner, It was in my book. I had the same idea but wasn't quite sure how to pull it off effectively without the rear-sync capability on my camera. Hmm, maybe I could have backed away from the stop sign instead of going towards it. My plan was to take it at night though so that would have been different. Anyway it is an awesome effect and very well done. Very dramatic.

squAreSby GordonComment by catpixel: good use of shallow DOF, a little, tiny bit too bright in the immediate foreground. Good interpretation, i was going to do maosaic too, wish I had now! |

squAreSby GordonComment by Cub: I like the choice of shots but a greater DOF would be less distracting. My eyes keep going to the upper half of the photo.. Cub |
