9. This is a great shot. The exposure and DOF are just right. The wings look like paper! The only reason I'm giving this a 9 and not a 10 is that I don't really get the feeling that it was taken FOR the challenge. The negative space is definetely not really what comes to mind as the power of the shot, it's simply a well blurred background as created with the proper aperature. Still, I can see why you submitted it, the negative space is pretty interesting and I wouldn't have been able to not submit such an amazing shot either! Good luck in the challenge.

Neg. space here suggests that the butterflyis part of a larger world. Nice. Lighting is slightly harsh on the butterly--but only slightly.
