When life gives you lemons...by GordonComment by jmsetzler: Greetings :) This photo is simply 'refreshing' to my eye. The sound of the the carbonation and the scent of the lemon combine nicely in this photo. Since this image is visually appealing and stirring senses other than vision, I think it's a great photograph :) This is one of the few photos I have seen recently that appeal to multiple senses this way. "Touch" is the only sense that I have trouble relating to this shot. It's not always natural to want to reach out and touch something wet. Excellent work... = 10 |

When life gives you lemons...by GordonComment by aussie: Now this is very creative!! I love the blues, yellows and all those bubbles. Clarity is brilliant as well. Nicely done and gl in this weeks challenge. |

When life gives you lemons...by GordonComment by faidoi: Absolutely beautiful colors. Love the contrast of the yellow and the blue. The reflections on the bubble are simply stunning. Makes them really pop out of the shot. Good depth of field helps to separate foreground bubbles from background ones. Framing really works here. |

Bowie vs Westwood: 1st down Bowie!by GordonComment by EddyG: Great capture. Lots of action going on -- you can really feel the "energy" of the play in this shot. There is some subtle blurring going on which works here -- but the ball carrier's face is crisp which is very cool. |

Bowie vs Westwood: 1st down Bowie!by GordonComment by RiderGal: I like the blur that shows where the action is. I feel as though the actual action is kind of weird though, for one, I don't see anyone taking the guy down (maybe he is tripping, but I don't know...) also the way that his body is positioned, I can't tell but it looks like he doesn't have a left arm? I'm not keen on your cropping, although I don't know how I would have done it differently, the guy on the right is exxtremely distracting (the one headed out of the photo) Good job getting the ball in the photo, but there is just something that doesn't look right to me here... |

Melbourne Skyline by GordonComment by Simplicity: Wow! I must say this is an absolutely beautiful photo. One of the best I've ever seen! Simply stunning. You really did a magnificient job on this. I wasn't a member yet on this website when you entered this in the challenge, but had I been, there wouldn't have been a score high enough that I could've given it. Congrats on your ribbon well earned! |
