Wow - she looks so much like my Cosima. Poor baby. You know, cats purr out of stress sometimes, too. This is not a widely known fact. I hope she adjusts soon and becomes a happy cat. They are so sensitive... when I took in my Handsome Kitty (eaten by coyotes last year), it took him about a year to completely let go of his trauma of being abandoned by his prior owners. Hope to see more shots of this one!

Rudbeckia commonly know as "black-eyed Susan's".. Can tell by the center and the leaves of this plant which is nice in your foto.
You may have seen the bud just prior to opening on a few of the entries..

There are yellow cone flowers aka Harvest Moon u might see as another name for them in a NSY..
