Its well composed. If the head of the figure was in focus then this would work but as it is, the relection seems sharper

What a shame. This looks like a well-executed exposure and the reflections are beautiful. However, unfortunately, it is very blurry. If your shutter speed was under 1/60 of a second you may have hand-shake in which case it's best to put your camera on a tripod. On the other hand, if you did have it on a tripod but the boat moved, I'd suggest increasing shutter speed to at least 1/125 to freeze the action and dial up the aperture accordingly.

Obviously with the favs no one minds the gate at all. I certainly don't. The softness really suits this well - it highlights the softness of the dog, and the beauty of its devotion. The light on the front of the coat is awesome.

Better use of a statue/toy than many in the challenge. But the overall softness is a detriment to the image IMO.
