Fly Away Heronby MaryOComment by MelonMusketeer: What a lovely nature shot. The heron looks great with the dark background, and I also like that you left a lot of foreground in the image to give it depth and show the environment. Good processing helped too. |

Fly Away Heronby MaryOComment by JuliBoc: Beautiful flight shot with that clear feather detail. The fish makes it even better. I love the wild mood of the scene -- it feels like deep wilderness. |

Fly Away Heronby MaryOComment by Bujanx: Now that is a stunning shot Mary! There's so much movement captured in the heron, the wind flipping his wings up, the catfish wiggling... just awesome. The surroundings look so serene!

Mine, All MINEby MaryOComment by JuliBoc: chipmunks are so cute. It's fun to see the little creature by the mountain of corn. The lighting isn't up to your usual quality. This might be a fun image to experiment with the lighting effects filter in PS (filter>render>lighting effects). I would play with the Omni light.
e.t.a: You can achieve similar lighting effects by using a Soft Light layer and painting with a low saturation soft brush using black/white to burn/dodge. Although I'm sure you know that already, someone else reading this might be interested. Message edited by author 2008-06-06 10:40:37. |

Lady in Waitingby MaryOComment by trevytrev: This goose does seem to have a lady like eloquence about it, love how how her neck curves and as you pointed how she looks like she is shyly hiding her face behind the tree. |
