Interesting difference between background and subject textures composed of the same tones: quite apt as wolfhounds have for me an 'appearing out of nowhere' essence. Lovely.

They are indeed very patient. Believe it or not, there are herons in the LA River, which is a concrete riverbed. But still they stand ever so patiently waiting for what, I don't know.
