Witchety grubby BeetleComment by citymars: "Edible either raw or lightly cooked in hot ashes, they are sought out as a high-protein food by Indigenous Australians. The raw witchetty grub tastes like almonds and when cooked the skin becomes crisp like roast chicken while the inside becomes light yellow, like a fried egg."
Yikes. Nice photos, by the way! |

All our operators are currently busy...by BeetleComment by Cory: Busy indeed... :)
I love the concept, but I'm only ok with the image, it's nothing bad really at all, the only aspect I can really pick on is the choppy feeling bokeh, it's more that there's just nothing that really grabs me in this image. 6.. |

All our operators are currently busy...by BeetleComment by Tully: I'm not sure I like the brand on the headset showing and I wish the nail filing in the background was just a little bit sharper, but this is still one of my favourites in this challenge... nice work. |

All our operators are currently busy...by BeetleComment by quiche: My eye is first drawn to the ring on the hand, and then to the watch on the wrist. Both are comparatively light, shiny-looking objects, so they are distracting me from the headset. Then the pencil and coffee cup catch my eye. In other words, I kept wanting to explore all the background elements in the photo rather than the foreground element. Too many things going on. The headset, however, is well exposed and I like the DOF on it. |
