treesby poserComment by UNCLEBRO: well, i don't know what the original looks like, so i can't tell how much you've improved it.
but i can say that i think you've picked a good subject to convert.
the only part i don't like is the "blown out" sky.
but that probably couldn't be avoided? |

trailby poserComment by littlegett: I was excited to see the thumb of this, I was thinking, ooooooOOOoo a spooky trail or something. However, looking at it larger, it seems like an image from an old newspaper. Almost seems overly sharp. Not really exactly know what I feel about this image. Most times the style of this is enjoyable, but here, I just find myself lacking the enjoy part.... don't get me wrong its a good image, just think I was expecting something else. |

dead-treeby poserComment by colorcarnival: The shadow adds a nice contrast to the pic. I would like to see some cropping of the space on the left - for me, it doesn't add anything to the pic. |

dead-treeby poserComment by noraneko: Hi Rosemary, great to see yet another TS member in this challenge! I like the tonal range here. Would like perhaps to see the wood more isolated, though. There are so many patterns that it may get a bit lost. I do think there is strength in the crossing of the trees in the upper 2/3 portion of the right-hand side. |

dead-treeby poserComment by CapeSail: Nice clarity everywhere. All of the textures make it seem busy. With some dodge/burn or filter lighting you could have highlighted the tree to make it stand out from the background. |

trailby poserComment by colorcarnival: I was thinking about this for a bit and was not sure if I liked the extra sharpness or not. And lol, I think I do because what it really does is helps define each tree. I think the trees could have gotten lost and blended together in the B/W. Interesting pic! |

trailby poserComment by Retroesque: I think the sharpness of the post processing makes it a bit too busy. Love the tones though. |

dead-treeby poserComment by sherpet: Maybe need just a tad more natural light to bring out the textures of this one..... |
