day 7by poserComment by colorcarnival: My favorite part is the reflection of the words you caught on the bench. The black looks great in this pic. |

the-parkby poserComment by colorcarnival: learning is what it's all about. i love what you did with the background and the sky - i get the sense of something rolling in. really nice contrast with the trees against the background! |

day 7by poserComment by violinist123: It's a picture of a bench so there's only so much excitement that's going to come from looking at this (big white message notwithstanding). Offering one viewer's opinion (on the photo, not the slogan), I think it would look better were the subject centered and better yet were it not shot from above looking down but from the level of the bench itself. |

day 7by poserComment by noraneko: Rosemary, you did a really good job with the constrast and toning on this one. Very nice crisp blacks and whites! |

the-parkby poserComment by JerseyGenie: I disagree, this is not a dull shot, it is a snapshot of simple beauty. I think it's lovely. The only thing that captured my eye and didn't do the rest of the shot justice was the road marker in the middle of the shot ... I'd take the time to practice cloning and try to get rid of it. (Maybe I'm just the crazy old lady who likes to practice cloning out things!?!?!?) The other road marker sort of disappears into the trees, so I wouldn't worry abot that one, but the one in the middle of the shot kept drawing my eye there.
The fog sure adds to this shot and I really love the beauty you've preserved. Nice job. |
