Fire Doorby jackal9Comment by jonfrommk: Nice sharpeness and as previously mention good bokeh. Nice off centre position. Perhaps my only adverse comment is with regards the subject matter. Its a nice image but there isnt (for my tastes) any real 'wow' factor

Fire Doorby jackal9Comment by MAK: Nice sharp focus on the subject with good bokeh going on. would like to see more BLACK in the tonal editing but maybe that is just MY personal taste. An allround nice shot with a good B&W conversion |

Neverwhereby jackal9Comment by Simms: eurgh.. I dont like the face split intwo, it really doesnt work. the 3 images tell me nothing of this mans story. poor concept and poorly executed IMHO. |

Night Barn Blue.jpgby jackal9Comment by colorcarnival: I like the blue sky. You ought to go back and take this with someone hiding in the shadows near that box on the right. It would be one of those "surprises" when someone stares at the pic for a little bit. Intersting capture! |

Neverwhereby jackal9Comment by RainMotorsports: Familiar face, too bad Symetry is in advanced. Expert editing would allow for something cool like this in that challenge too!. |

Windowby jackal9Comment by Melethia: My kind of shot - I like different perspectives of normal things. DOF is excellent and the shot has a richness to it that adds overall. |

Windowby jackal9Comment by klstover: Oooooh, composition is very dramatic! Just pulls me right into the image. I love the colors, too. |

Third Wheelby jackal9Comment by meyers: I like this one the best of your four recent shots; there just enough context around the small part in focus to give it, well, context, and all of the brown (wood?) is blurred to bokeh which further highlights the sharp subject. |

First-shoot-3.jpgby jackal9Comment by purpleflutterby13: The composition and background are good. However, the lighting on the model's face seems a bit flat - maybe using a reflector or a fill-in flash would have helped? It's also to an extent possible to fix in post-processing.
Could do with being sharpened a touch as well.
Good picture, just not quite perfect yet. |
