After the Rainby sfarrell23Comment by jjsmom: This is a great shot! The sky in the top left is a great contrast with the tree & the house. The darkness of the ground at the edge of the water intensifies the puddle. And the ripples in the puddle convey the recent energy of the storm. One question: what is the smooth area on the top of the woodpile? Is it a tarp? That is the only part of the scene that doesn't fit in, but again, an optistist could have put it there in a feeble attempt to keep the wood dry! |

After the Rainby sfarrell23Comment by Bilberry: This image would be greatly improved if the mid-tones were give a bit of a lift. At the moment it feels as if it is still raining. |

Like Ducks on a Pondby sfarrell23Comment by aimeethetoo: I really like the soft, sort of majestic, feel of this shot. I like the thick white border but the gray does not appeal to me at all. Nice color tones in the pic - well done. 8 |

Like Ducks on a Pondby sfarrell23Comment by KarenNfld: I love the backlighting on the duck that has its wings spread. If you could have isolated a duck like that away from all the others it would look beautiful in this soft light. |
