I think the composition here is great - but the lighting is not. The sky is overexposed while the foreground is underexposed. A little less light in the sky or a ND-grad filter could have helped.

This photo seems a bit too post processed and the tree in the front is quite distracting. Try not to sharpen too much as it causes a lot of noise that takes away from the photo.

I really like the crop and the detail on the wings. The fringing around the trees in the background is a bit distracting, but this is still a great image.

Don't know how you managed to get this angle/POV, but it is appealing. I like the blues too. The image may be a tad on the dark side, but other than that I really like it.
