Day 1by daboardergirlComment by littlegett: This is a fun tree, personally I would like to see it sharper with a shallower dof. A bit more contrasty would definitely create a really strong mood for this tree as well. I really like the possible imagery it presents. |

Day 1by daboardergirlComment by noraneko: I like the different textures a lot and think this captures a feeling of emptiness quite well. I do think the tones could be brought out a little more. |

this was the first thing i thought when i looked at it, well after the fact that i realised that i liked it.
would olso work better because of the background being different than the other two and would balance it up a bit.
also very cool you were able to catch that one bubble whilst blowing another.

Day 3by daboardergirlComment by JerseyGenie: Great triptych. I think I agree with Artyste as to placement. I'm sure your brother would appreciate this as a gift sometime in the future. |

Day 3by daboardergirlComment by Artyste: A fun triptych indeed. Your conversion is lovely, great tonal ranges. The border here, while I think great for a large-sized print in a frame, isn't helping you much for a DPC sized upload. I think if you knocked a good 25 pixels off the edges, or increased your photo sizes a little, it'd have more impact as a web-view.
On a further note.. have you tried putting the far right image in as the middle? I think this would provide a fascinating "expression" anchor. With the amusing "funny-face" on the left, the soft, neutral pose in the middle, and then bookended with the final, "I'm too happy to be alive" look :) Message edited by author 2007-05-02 17:49:57. |

Day 3by daboardergirlComment by noraneko: Ah, recognize this as an outtake from the bubbles challenge! (Your entry was one of my faves, BTW.) This is very well done. I think you definitely chose the right placement of each photo in the triptych. |
