Thistleby daboardergirlComment by Bruce_the_Robert: I agree with everyone who said the long lens makes it pop (nice shallow DoF), but I also agree including a bit more of it in the frame (so zooming out slightly or stepping back a bit) might have strengthened the composition a bit. |

Stormy Dayby daboardergirlComment by levyj413: Very pretty, dreamy feel. Nice job getting the golden grass against the storm clouds. This has potential to have many different looks depending on processing. It's nice as is. You could also try one with very high contrast and see what you think. |

Desolationby daboardergirlComment by levyj413: Oh, I like this one a lot. I really love the foreground branch in the lower left - it tells me what the rest of the ground cover is. |

I See Youby daboardergirlComment by levyj413: I might have just awakened my wife because of my laugh. :) The grays and textures are neat all by themselves, and then I hit those eyes. |

Utah Railwaysby daboardergirlComment by levyj413: Wow, are those some kind of gorgeous colors. I'm not bothered by the shadow - gives the mountains some more interest, actually.
It suffers a bit from not being razor sharp. Were you using a small aperture? The smaller the better to get a deep shot like this all in focus. |
