Breakfast.by wingyisleedsComment by Nuzzer: 6: Good capture but the cropping doesn't seem right - more tightly cropped on the birds head and neck with a bit more around the bread would have been better IMO |

High and Lowby wingyisleedsComment by Prism: I like the silhouettes and the colours in this shot. I think you might have stronger image if you were to rotate it to the right about .5 of a degree and clone out the wire. (JMO) |

Will it ever stop!by wingyisleedsComment by Pixelstate: Greeting from the Critique club...
Firstly nice photo, good tone and mood...
The comments on this photo have been pretty positive and useful. A number of people pointing out that showing more of the models face would have helped. The black hair has really dominated that part of the picture and does not help the overall shot.
The plant is also a little dominating and upsets the balance a little.
Overall an excellent effort, your photography is showing great improvement and the idea is solid. The conversion to Black and white is well done and I feel that you have achieved what you set out to do. Keep up the good work and take into account the feedback from the commenters...

Mellow Yellow!!by wingyisleedsComment by UNTITLED: Was this shot in the middle of the day? Seems way too contrasty, with some harsh shadows. Would be better to photograph when in the shade or with some more flattering light. |

Mellow Yellow!!by wingyisleedsComment by JunieMoon: I like the way you left the flowers yellow against the b&w background. However, they do appear extremely grainy. The background could have just a bit more contrast as well. It suffers from too much midtone and not enough highlights and darks. |

Will it ever stop!by wingyisleedsComment by talj: Hi keith,
Well done on your 2nd highest scoring image so far :o) You've already had lots of positive feedback which is really great. I'd agree with your commenters, a little more of the face would really have helped this shot but other than that you have all the other elements right :o) Look forward to seeing your next entry :o) |
