Wow... amazing how the DOF is just perfect. Deep enough that very part of the flower is perfect, but shallow enough that everything else is out of focus. Beautifully vivid colors too. And I disagree with the other comment... the green blob (a lily leaf?) on the left helps make the flower stand out. The only thing that bothers me are the lines leading off to the right (just under the right edge of the flower). But I didn't even notice those until I went looking for things to complain about, so forget about it! :-)

I feel that the green blob in the top-left corner is a bit distracting..I would crop it out...or delete it from the image in photoshop...but again the colors and the light are superb...also the sharpness and dof and contrast...fantastic image

but the lighting is brilliant...
how about trying it with different colored backgrounds...bright or mellow...screaming pink...gray-blue...something that makes it stand out...makes it arty...
