Peahenby sunraygpComment by arron_christensen: DOF is nice, but the highlights are overexposed in the head ruffle. the lens flair is also distracting. otherwise it is nice. |

Peahenby sunraygpComment by emcharl: This is a great shot (especially the sunlight on the head feathers) but is spoilt by the background, especially the spot at the top. Also the background has noise. |

Basic Technolgyby sunraygpComment by jrtodd: Could have added a little bit to the photo if the widow the man is looking out was not cut off. Also if the focus of the picture was on him alond with the red tubes and dumpster. |

Steaming round the S-bendby sunraygpComment by glad2badad: THIS is what a 'S' curve should look like. :) The lines lead to the primary subject and take the viewer thru the image. Hooray!
As for the image, I like the way the trees are forming a natural frame/tunnel for the train to come thru. Keeps the viewers focused and in a natural place as well (train is close to the upper ROT point).
Would be a tad stronger if the train was sharply focused instead of the tracks, but nonetheless I still like it overall. Good luck in the challenge. |
