You're right - he chose to forego the actual fishing rod for the piece of plastic he found. He wasn't actually looking at anything as much as he was trying to figure out how to get his feet out of the mud. Thanks for the comments. PM

Unfortunately it's the wrapper from his new fishing rod...that he wasn't using (in favour of that piece of plastic in his hand). I wasn't thinking photo at the time, otherwise I'd have cleaned it up. oh well...this was my first entry so I'll get better at that kind of thing. Thanks for the comments. PM
