I like the composition of this shot -- the plant, menu, stained glass window, and the brick wall all come together nicely. And I like the highlights on her hair. I think the shadow on her face is a little harsh. And she seems a little washed out. Maybe a levels adjustment would help, or a bit of tinkering with the sliders in exposure.

As in the other shot on the sofa, I like the lighting. You do a very nice job on the pretty girls at work. You have a knack for capturing something of interest in their eyes. I like the softness of the shot, but I think I'd like to see her eyes sharpened. They are the real focal point of this shot.

Nice going to have the interior and exterior so well exposed. I also like the lighting, with the back light on her hair and the reflected light on her face. I think I would try adjusting the gamma setting (under image > adjustment > exposure) a little bit to see if I could get a bit more depth in the image.

My favorite of the series. The wider crop imparts a luxurious comfort to the old leather sofa and shows off interesting details of her surroundings as well. The reading material makes her face illumination look completely natural (it probably is, but if you hid a small flash in there, you adjusted it to perfection). This would be a fine portrait to frame and display.

It's interesting how the pose and expression can completely change the mood of the shot. The first B&W I viewed is very warm, very inviting. This one is a bit cooler, a bit sad.

All of these are well done - I like the way the book has reflected a bit of light to her face in this one. She has beautiful eyes! Great light in all of these - very soft, very flattering. I don't know if the new lens helped, but the photographer's eye for the lighting and the poses is just right.

My main issue with this shot is you have too much sidewalk, which isn't part of your subject (like the reflections) or providing contextual contrast (like the shrubs). The neon inside disrupts your reflections. Next time tell the manager not to be so rude and turn off the sign while you're taking pictures.
