Nice. Didn't notice the soles of the shoes the first time. Too bad the hat blurred (looks like a North Face hat?) Love the high key approach to this; doesn't always work on people pix, but great here. I might have included a little more of the window frame at the bottom, but very cool nonetheless.

Interesting perspective and a nice change of pace. Could have worked for Parallel Lines, too. The tip of the shoe is out of focus- a higher f-stop (if possible) would have solved that unless you were simply too close to focus. The blurry North Face type is quite distracting.

Out of everything I've seen thus far, this is my favorite. (There's a LOT of crappy portraits! Congrats on not being one of them.) I like how your shoes frame your face, in a way. The slight tilt makes it appear as it they're surrounding your portrait. :) Well done.

Wonderfully composed. It looks like you tried for a very deep DOF, but you lost a little crispness in his shoes. If it had worked and it was all in focus, it would have been great. But, since you didn't quite get it all, maybe it would be better with a little less depth ... then it would look purposeful, at least.
