Those are the "bubbles" in the background (hmmm--maybe a long drive to get a shot for the bubbles challenge ;). The guy at Jordan pond house told me they used to call them the boobies. ;) They are a nice quick hike as well, next time you are there, if you didn't get to them on your whirlwind tour!

I love the grittyness of this photo, the stark overexposure at the end of the tunnel and the supersaturated colors.
