I like the B&W conversion to go along with a vintage car. I also like the close crop. Not sure about the snow and slightly soft focus. IMHO -6-

Add some motion panning by moving the camera, or just take a long exposure shot so to add blur, and your idea will be finalized. As it is, its a half baked good idea.

Nice detail and rich color in the bloom, and a very good diagonal composition. For a flower shot to do well here, it has to be unique in some way, I think. This is a good flower shot, but not particularly unique. There are some artifacts of something in the background that do draw the eye a bit, but I'll disagree with one commenter about the green in the lower right - I think that provides a nice "support" to the bloom and some good contrasting color. In the DPC world, there's a tendency to oversimplify, to have a subject floating somewhat displaced on a pure back blackground that to me artificializes the subject.
