Its A Light Shade!by squidviciousComment by garlic: No part of the picture seems to be in focus which is a drawback imo. Also there are some distracting dustspots. But there are some interesting forms there and the composition seem alright. |

The Abandoned Windowby squidviciousComment by 777STAN: Nice tryptic! Nice Thirds! Nice! :)
Of course, I couldn't help noticing that the tower attracts the eye & the window serves as framing enhancements to the tower. I am sure many will notice and it could pull down your score. At any rate much success to you! :) |

The Abandoned Windowby squidviciousComment by riccardino: The shot is framed according to the rule of thirds, but despite the title, the real subject (or at least what I perceive as the subject) is really well centered. So I'm wondering if it meets the challenge. I'm assuming it does.
However I do not like this shot very much. The main problem I have with it is that I cannot find something really interesting to hold on and the only things to attract my attention are the dirt spots on the window. Not very pleasant. |

Don't be discouraged.. you'll be improving in no time.. :)
This is a lovely shot. Great capture.. As the others had said.. 2 things..
1) Sharper focus on "Black Lab"
2) tighter crop to give it an "action pack" look..
Hope this helps.. :) |
