Waves in Flag by DennisFComment by alanfreed: With all due respect to lisae, I really doubt that someone is going to go through all of the trouble of generating a 3D version of something like this. I mean, that's the whole point of stock photography -- if you don't have the time to photograph something yourself, you go buy it! So this was perfect in all respects. Congrats on the ribbon! |

Waves in Flag by DennisFComment by lisae: I could see why the stars were dark. To me, that didn't detract from the photo at all... the backlighting was the most appealing aspect of this photo to me. I also like it being backwards!
Congratulations on coming 3rd.
By the way... I thought I would let you know that after I left the comment about thinking I could render this in a 3D program, I decided to set that as a challenge to myself. I shouldn't say things like that and not be able to back them up (otherwise it's like that saying "your mouth is writing cheques your ass can't cash!"). So stay tuned, I'm going to try, and if I fail, I'll take the comment back! :)
