To me there is a bit too much surrounding the cat that I'm no really interested in. I would have loved to see this adorable cat filling the frame substantially more. Is the cat really that orange? Love his eyes.

I've no doubt that this cat is exceptionally smooth and silky to the touch - all your photographs of her really emphasize the delightful nature of her markings and fur (and personality, I might add!) You're right, though in that this probably isn't the best shot you've had of her, but I like the fact she seems to be quite enjoying the spot of sunshine - a very familiar pose for cat owners everywhere. A very well distributed bell curve on the score - you met the challenge, but as you say, failed to "wow" voters.

I never tire of seeing pictures of her, so keep entering them! (I particularly love the one where she's leaping into the picture - still one of my favs of yours!)
