Preoccupiedby SiggavComment by Siggav: Pawdrix - I am aware of that question and I thought it through while selecting the photos I've posted in this side challenge.
I've clearly not managed to communicate it well enough, so it's a fair enough comment. What caught my eye about this photo is the contrast between the woman and the piper, how they're sharing space in the same city at the same time while not really existing in the same world.
Melenthia, Bvy and Bauerfan71 - thanks for your comments too :) it's nice to see I managed to get some of what I saw in the situation across. |

Aloneby SiggavComment by Melethia: He looks as though he's expecting someone to meet him, but the emptiness of the rest of the scene makes it feel as though he's been waiting a while now. |

Preoccupiedby SiggavComment by Melethia: Nice distance between them in a couple of respects. He's very proper, very focused, classic in his attire. She is aloof, cautious, more casual in attire yet probably more reserved in many things than him. A nice catch, this one. |

Preoccupiedby SiggavComment by bauerfan71: Perfect! I keep coming up with stories about the connection the 2 could have. Something like ' She nearly turned when she heard that familiar tune, wondering if it could really be him. But the pain of losing him nce again to the glamourous life of a bagpipist made her stop. She didnt really want to know. ' |

Tom and Jerryby SiggavComment by ertert: I've just seen the movie Up last night, and when you talk about soggy, it brings back verry cool 3D images from the movie.
Cool picture and it does fit the challenge. |

Tom and Jerryby SiggavComment by tnun: OK, have to use the word "fetching" again. It is a fetching picture, and I love the story. Had a cat once whom late at night I heard purring loudly in my closet; he had brought in his kill - a bird - and just had to sound off his pleasure. |
