Pawdrix - I am aware of that question and I thought it through while selecting the photos I've posted in this side challenge.
I've clearly not managed to communicate it well enough, so it's a fair enough comment. What caught my eye about this photo is the contrast between the woman and the piper, how they're sharing space in the same city at the same time while not really existing in the same world.
Melenthia, Bvy and Bauerfan71 - thanks for your comments too :) it's nice to see I managed to get some of what I saw in the situation across. |

Nice distance between them in a couple of respects. He's very proper, very focused, classic in his attire. She is aloof, cautious, more casual in attire yet probably more reserved in many things than him. A nice catch, this one. |

Perfect! I keep coming up with stories about the connection the 2 could have. Something like ' She nearly turned when she heard that familiar tune, wondering if it could really be him. But the pain of losing him nce again to the glamourous life of a bagpipist made her stop. She didnt really want to know. ' |
