berries of the tundraby mangymooseComment by Retroesque: This image suffers from lack of clear point of focus. The viewer has no real idea which part of the image you want our eyes to settle on first, no clear 'point' of focus.
It also lacks sharpness and clarity.
Next time use a tripod or other way to steady the camera, perhaps get a little lower down and concentrate on one are to focus on. |

berries of the tundraby mangymooseComment by Budya: There is too much going on here and each of the elements separately (berries, red leaves, or water drops) would have been a more interesting image, in my opinion. |

The stairs at dawnby mangymooseComment by TheStick: Not a bad image but seems a little "snap shot-ish". It lacks the "wow" factor many look for in a free study challenge, IMHO. I find the brightness on the right a little distracting as the center and left have such a wonderful rich tone and color with the shadows. |

"HI LUX"by mangymooseComment by loseme: *Critique Club*
"HI LUX" is a interesting addition into the Street Challenge, I can see how this shot was probably take from the street.
The coloring is defiantly the strongest attribute in this piece, the temperature of the piece feels really cold, like maybe you shot this very early in the morning. I think the coloring might have worked better for the viewer if we were at a different perspective like from the ground up. I think looking at the top placing Street shot they are more head on which I think makes the viewer feel more like we are on the street looking in, instead of looking down.
Keep up the good work, I look forward to your future photos!
