 I saw this old derelict truck with the 'HI LUX' plate on it and thought how ironic it was because nothing about this was 'HI LUX', for the origial ugly green paint to its current condition.

"HI LUX" is a interesting addition into the Street Challenge, I can see how this shot was probably take from the street.

The coloring is defiantly the strongest attribute in this piece, the temperature of the piece feels really cold, like maybe you shot this very early in the morning. I think the coloring might have worked better for the viewer if we were at a different perspective like from the ground up. I think looking at the top placing Street shot they are more head on which I think makes the viewer feel more like we are on the street looking in, instead of looking down.

Keep up the good work, I look forward to your future photos!

The colors are garrish! Not a likely entry for a street photography challenge IMO.

It's not that this shot doesn't meet the challenge because I suppose it really does but it just doesn't work for me. The subject just isn't interesting. Sorry.

HI LUX huh.

I am not convinced that this is a street photograph. Even if the street was in Beirut, or Bahgdad, or even near a junk yard.

All I know is that this is an ovbiously unused green truck surrounded by broken rock.

Comp needs help, color interesting, great texture, light is ok to being just flat, no eye movement, whites need help, blacks too deep, over all I hope you can do much better.

Keep going, try again.

Toyota Hilux's the indestructable deisel pickup. Ive seen one that was flooded, set on fire, run through a barn, then placed ontop of a building which was promptly blown up.

It and its cracked frame still drove back to the Top Gear Studio!
