Day01by doc_gonzoComment by violinist123: Interesting patterns on the blade of that knife. Nice high contrast still life. Might pop a little more with a tighter crop, not sure all that negative space is enhancing the shot. Overall, nice. |

Day01by doc_gonzoComment by BeckyT: I really like the moody feel of this photo. The shape generated from the light coming in through the kitchen window looks like a coffin. Then with the knife it gives it an eerie sort of feeling. Your juices seem to be flowing to me. |

I'd prefer to see a bit more focus extend further down in the image, to keep that second link from being too much of a distraction, although I don't know, that might end up ruining your nice bokeh. Well, it's a thought. :) |
