Metroby doc_gonzoComment by Hipychik: Very interesting. I like how there is the one little ray of light on the bottom left leading out of the tunnel. |

Metroby doc_gonzoComment by Ken: Cool picture and I like the sense of "what lurks beyond". It would be nice to see a bit of detail in the shadows. |

Metroby doc_gonzoComment by bassbone: this looks like something from a 1950s space movie - very cool stuff - the darkness of the image really accentuates the textures |

Metroby doc_gonzoComment by colorcarnival: For some reason I am not skilled enough to take photos like this. I always lean towards wanting sharp pictures. What I like about this is that the toning and softness lends to the eerie mood. The lines and patterns also capture your attention. |

Metroby doc_gonzoComment by Bebe: I really like everything about it. I like the softness & graininess & the pitch black corner - it makes it really moody & a little scary. |

Metroby doc_gonzoComment by 777STAN: B/W photography at its best...Geometry! I guessed 800 ISO before I saw it listed...because of the high grain content. It's a harsh toss-up between...Don't Get the Picture Too Little Light & Get the Picture With Too Much Grain.
I'm guessing, but maybe 200 ISO at 4 seconds on a Bogen tripod (for sturdiness) would reduce the grain. (Low-Light & Night photography are my weakest,...So, this is merely out-loud processing. I hope something here sparks an idea for you.)
Snaps for courage to get great perspective & leading lines! :) |

Metroby doc_gonzoComment by SandyP: Very VERY COOL, Doc! I am so excited to have a whole year to share and study other people's style and presentation of their artistic side. I love the geometric shapes and the way the lines in this lead you in such an interesting flow -- and I really love how you processed it with an ever-so-slight grain and grunge. It fits perfectly!
Awesome black and white imagery!

Metroby doc_gonzoComment by hajeka: Nice effect here, the photo makes me wish to see more of the tunnel. I like the patterns, but there's a lot of contrast. |

Metroby doc_gonzoComment by pawdrix: Hunter-Reminds me of a cargo hold in the movie Alien. The repetitive pattern with the dark beyond has an erie feel. Nice work. Message edited by author 2008-01-27 21:36:30. |
