I like the dark tone of this shot, and how the flowers in the back just peek out from nothingness (is that a word?). The one in the upper left could be a bit sharper; it seems much softer than the rest.

I like this one more than your actual Trees entry. Granted, the cars in the parking lot are a little distracting, but the upside-down perspective of the background, framed so nicely by the blurred bare trees, really draws me into the picture. Maybe if your timing was *really* good, you could drop the ball in front of the camera, and catch it as it passed in front of the lens, or set the ball on a pad (or something) to act as a base.

It's fine really :)
I have some slightly odd hobbies that involve paraffin and creating fire balls - a small controlled flame just doesn't bother me that much, even if it's on my hand temporarily...

I do like this one better. The streakiness of the light (and its reflection on the violin) make the picture vibrant, conveying a sense of action not otherwise obvious.

Setting your hand on fire is probably a bad thing in the long run.

LOL!!! Hopefully you didn't burn a) you or b) the house down. I do like the reshoot - the flame is a very nice touch!

I think you've got the right curves here to suggest music while complementing the physical curves of the violin itself. There is after all something more to a violin than itself. There is the music that can potentially come out of it, a music that is never more perfect than when it is not being played.

You might consider a different angle on the violin. I imagine a foreshortened more leaning violin, as though being played by a ghost.

A very unique photo. I love how the composition is creative and appealing even though over 50% of the image is hair.

This is a very nice effect. The white light design against the black background adds a lot to the image. I've never tried light painting, and don't even know how it's done.

The sweeping curves of light, the tighter circles of the violin, and the diagonal of the, um, violin-string-player-thing all fit well together in this shot. The ghost light is a little strong, but it does give the picture a high contrast-y feel.
