300_0257-wk-6.jpgby salmiakkiComment by SandyP: I'm so jealous of the scenery you get to have as a slice of your life! This is so beautiful. I love slice of life pictures. That was one of my funnest side challenges ever. Please post lots of your slice of life photos here too, okay? :)

300_0257-wk-6.jpgby salmiakkiComment by Ken: I like these winter outdoors shots in B&W. I really like your B&W conversion and use of high contrast. That lone figure on the right is kind of interesting but doesn't seem to quite fit the picutre, at least for me. |

300_0257-wk-6.jpgby salmiakkiComment by fixedintime: Nice shot and the processing is good. I do think the the tall trees are too centered. I would have like it better with more of the lake showing and less on the right. |

WK 2 300_0115.jpgby salmiakkiComment by jdannels: I like the DoF and the conversion is nice too. I think the composition is a little stiff, maybe a half step to the right to get things less centered. |

Just before dawn....by salmiakkiComment by Alicia: Well darn, Sarah! So close! I love this shot - the clarity is absolutely wonderful, as are the colors. And you sure did better than I did - ha! :o) |

Something Old, Something newby salmiakkiComment by amathiasphoto: Great exposure, building, etc. My only problem with this shot is that it is taken at such a normal angle. I think you could have added several points to your score by different angles, just shooting some of the details, or being a little more creative. Dont get me wrong, great shot, and will still score well, just want to help improvement :) |
