Lovely stop-action. The horse is gorgeous; the rider looks like she's concentrating pretty seriously. The crop leaves room for the horse to land ;-)

I think for this challenge, you really need your photo the size of a standard album and to have some text on it. THis is a very interesting photo though, the pink dots are great!

This has "immediate impact" when the piture pops up, in addition to very pleasing balance and duality in the symmetry - patterns and light/dark kinda thing going on. Very crisp focus also adds to that immediate impact. I'd say all of the above contributed to the very nice score, but I've yet to figure out how voters work, so this is just my best guess.
