I like the use of lines from the two buildings. The courtyard seems a bit dark, probably becuase there was such a range of tones in the shot you had to struggle to balance the highlights and shadows. It also appears to be suffering a bit from motion blur or being OOF.

This is an altogether perfect Christmas morning picture. I love the look on the young man's face, and the fact Grandpa is in the background. I like the motion and the busy-ness of the whole thing alot. The only suggestion I would make is to clone or tone down the object on the table next to Grandpa, then I'd say you print this as a keeper!

Great expression from the kid and I like how grandpa is still recognizable. I am a bit bothered by the large number of distractions all over the pic, giving it a snapshottish feel. Especially the white/blue bottle (?) in the upper right corner is distracting. I also think the crop is just too tight below. Nevertheless, a nice pic.
