Pantby jaysonmcComment by colorcarnival: Mmmm i don't think this is all that ho-hum. I love the complement in colors between the brownish tone of your dog, the tongue, and the earthy green background. At least yours looks happier to be posing for you than mine was lol. I like this in-your-face kind of shot, and her eyes really pull you in. |

Trampingby jaysonmcComment by colorcarnival: Gorgeous, gorgeous! I love seeing the contrast between the plant life and the barren rock. What a beautiful scene! The clouds floating between the mountains make this so mystical too.
edit to add: Forgot to say - congrats on the nice FS score! Message edited by author 2008-03-09 21:23:15. |

Trampingby jaysonmcComment by JuliBoc: These rich colors are beautiful. I love the mood of this scene. And the tiny touch of red on the hikers is just right for giving the eye an anchor. I like the way the hikers are ascending the path leading to the large vertical stone which points slightly over toward the mountains. The flow in the image is great. Although it doesn't need it, I would have been tempted to brighten up the valley a little with a touch of 'soft light' white or yellow paint. |

Trampingby jaysonmcComment by macrothing: 8 - What a beautiful pure scene and photograph. I was about to type 'gee I wish it was 720' - alas it is. Very nice. |

Trampingby jaysonmcComment by BAMartin: This would be gorgeous without the hiker, but that splash of red totally makes this for me, it adds an additional element to your run of the mill landscape. Very nicely done! |

Pantby jaysonmcComment by Melethia: My favorite portrait (or at least one of them) so far is the halfsies one. But I like this one just fine as well - very natural, very real. Very good "dog". Quite like the non-crop crop, too. |

Pantby jaysonmcComment by posthumous: another great shot for your gallery. I put this in my 7 bin but I never got back to it for bumps. It's all about the composition, and creating energy by going out of frame. |
