He loves the snowby whiteflyerComment by geinafets: I love that the background is blurred out enough to make the bird pop, but not too much that the scene is obliterated. The perspective makes the house look like it's the perfect size for the bird, and that reminds me of a scene from a fairytale. |

Lighting is insufficient and might be a culprit in the dull colors. Picture is a little busy and appears to be a little shallow in depth. |

To Much Leanby whiteflyerComment by Teafran: A sad end for a once grand old boat and that is not quite right. A good solid entry into the challenge it might have been improved by a little closer look eliminating some of the background and concentrating on the boat itself. Well done. |

Funny thing is I have a shot from the same weekend very near identical to the 2nd placed one but did not want to have just another steam loco. |
