Done in the Gardenby OneSweetSinComment by Konador: all this needs is a sharpen and a little contrast enhancement to be a great photo worthy of a 9 or 10. as it is now, its a 7 i think. |

Done in the Gardenby OneSweetSinComment by Kavey: Nice subject material. I can see how the vertical lines are true to the edge of the frame on the right but this means they are quite a lot out on the left. I wonder if it would be better to rotate a touch so that the central area of the fence and the spade handles are perfectly vertical. Great feeling of a day's work in the garden... not that you'd catch me doing it! :) |

Window Shopping at the Antique Shopby OneSweetSinComment by jimmyn4: Greetings from the Critique Club. I like how all of the Florida colors compliment each other. I agree with most of the commenters that the reflection is distracting. Maybe a polarizing filter would have worked, they usually eliminate reflections. I'm also not sure why you cut off the right side of the chair. I would have liked to see the whole chair. Also, there is nothing on the left side of the photo that adds to this photo. I would have cropped out that little bit. Anyways, nice idea here that fell a little short I think because of composition and the reflection. Good luck in future challenges. |
