Unby cryingdragonComment by SJCarter: I like this - definitely an improvement over Day 1 of the last SP challenge. You've been paying attention... ;-)
May be a tad too much negative space for me personally - and I really like the minimalist POV. I think it might have even more impact with a little closer crop. Still, a very nice change of pace for you and a good shot. Well done! |

Unby cryingdragonComment by nixter: Great composition, Mike. I too think a B&W or desat would be interesting. |

Unby cryingdragonComment by Louis: Nice high key effect, and great catchlights. A b/w treatment may have been interesting too. I guess the light on your face is a result of the shadow created by your chin and the left light, versus the glare of the right light. I might have softened the key light with softbox or umbrella, or repositioned, or just moved the light and redone the photo (if I didn't want to see that shadow). Good work though, and I'm really looking forward to the rest with these new lights! |

Unby cryingdragonComment by shalrath: Great to see you back Mike! Awesome shot to begin with, agree with the light tho... but hey, there's always your next photo to fix that with :). |
