Cutie! I think for portraits such as this, it works better to have a smaller depth of field to blur the background more. You can move her away from the background a bit farther and that would help gain that blur as well. Nice and clear shot and cute model!

Edit: I think I'd also lessen the blue a bit in the shot in order to warm up the tones.

I'd try a much tighter crop cutting almost all the left background out and all of the bottom almost all the way to her hands. Then warm up the picture. Right now it seems to have a slight green cast that is causing the contrast and color to look dull.
The contrast is ok and will look good if you can get the colors right.
quick edit with virtual photographer is in the thread.

I would also crop out the bright object top left. Next time you may wanna use your flash for outdoor shots like this to get a little catchlight in the eyes. Makes them look more alive!

Awww - she is very cute. I like the composition but might suggest punching up the contrast a little. :)

Perhaps this would've worked better if you'd been at the very bottom of the lamp post. Also, and I'm sure others are saying this, it's too small. Use the full 640 pixel limit.

Image is very small, I'd suggest submiting larger. If you have Q's there is a tutorial that you can get to from the "Learn" in the top right of all pages.
