The Candleby ltlmschrisssComment by Rebecca: Nice DoF, nice desat, nice detail in the iris, but I'm not sure that the reflection I'm seeing is a flame. It's really too small to be the subject of the photo. |

The Candleby ltlmschrisssComment by EricMGB1974: Nice idea and good focus. You might want to dodge the candle in the eye a little to make it stand out just a bit more, and I'm afraid the selective desaturation really doesn't add to the image at all. Perhaps if the iris was also desaturated and just the reflection left in color it would work better. |

The Candleby ltlmschrisssComment by thegrandwazoo: So very hard to see the fire in this image. The macro of the eye and the desat is cool but I yearn for the burn. Needs more fire. I was gonna give you a 4 but I will bump to a 5 cuz of the technicals.
