The Patriot Gameby citymarsComment by colorcarnival: I can't believe this didn't finish higher. I loved how it looked like a collage of portraits. High key is great for this. It's like a sense of chaos with order in there somewhere lol. Very nice. |

Pre-Show Chatby citymarsComment by MacDonald: Must be fun to catch working actors you paparazzo you - she sure doesn't look like she is all that into him though (grin) If you cut this shot off right above the fire hydrant, it kinda makes a funny statement too.. the healthy drink, the dead butts under the hydrant, like they have been put to death...another whole world beneath the legs of the humans. |

Woman in Whiteby citymarsComment by pawdrix: Uh oh...here comes a technical comment...
The space up top could be cut in half (or more) even with my minimal editing stance that would have been something I might have done. That's always been a pet peeve when you ask a stranger to take a picture of you and your group of pals and they frame your heads dead center leaving plenty of sky or ceiling lights....big bummer. ;) |

Nighthawkby citymarsComment by Melethia: This is wonderful - I really like it. I love the sense of isolation and loneliness it creates. Very well seen and captured, and nice work for hand held, too. |

No Umbrella by citymarsComment by Melethia: Love the grain and the hint of rain on her chest. And the reflections. Has a sort of expectation feel to it - like she sees someone she's going to meet. DEFINITELY better in B&W. |

Pre-Show Chatby citymarsComment by shalrath: I love the poster behind her! It really adds to the shot, if you look only at the top half of this, it's almost as though he's talking to the poster... |

No Umbrella by citymarsComment by Iraklis: 2000 thousand ISO! My D40 gets grainier with 800... : (
I like the stream of light on the street...in BW it ties in with her skin and wet gleam on her chest. She seems to be in a rush and this is accentuated by the feeling that she is just about to walk past the picture frame. Message edited by author 2008-10-05 02:48:58. |

Pre-Show Chatby citymarsComment by salmiakki: Well, if you hadn't said who they were then I would never have realised. I have never heard of Raul Esparza, but I do recognise Elizabeth Moss. Well done and I don't blame you for posting this one. |

Nighthawkby citymarsComment by bvy: This has a good Americana feel to it -- alone late at night in the city that never sleeps. Great neon colors. |
