This attractive, chic dresser was impatiently waiting for someone to come out of a financial institution. She was watching the entrance like a hawk. I wondered if she was a reporter.

Shot through window glass, which may be at least one factor in the lack of sharpness. Camera movement is another (I was in a hurry; I know she saw me "stalking" her with my camera). :-)

The slight off focus doesn't bother me too much either, your composition and processing are really good.

The lack of focus doesn't bother me in this shot.. I like how you framed her.. she looks terribly important and terribly serious.. the way she is holding, or barely holding her phone is important looking...very well exposed

a great deal of concern on her face captured well, the colored lines add a nice contrast to her rather pale appearance

A little something is lost in the noise for me -- and believe me, I'm the kind of noise, so I'm usally pretty forgiving as far as that goes. That aside, I love the pose and the expression and the moment that you've captured here. The single wayward strand of hair and the business around her neck really add a lot to the story.

Maybe it's just my senior vision, but this looks plenty sharp to me. The crop doesn't bother me that much -- in fact, I'd like to see a bit more of her surroundings.

I'd have to agree with Pawdrix on this one, a tighter crop would help a lot. The softness is a bummer as this would be really nice if it were tack sharp.

I see the face. I see privilege.

Uh oh...here comes a technical comment...
The space up top could be cut in half (or more) even with my minimal editing stance that would have been something I might have done. That's always been a pet peeve when you ask a stranger to take a picture of you and your group of pals and they frame your heads dead center leaving plenty of sky or ceiling lights....big bummer. ;)
