I have stacks of buttons and know how easy one thinks they might be to compose and create with. But not so, in my experience. At such close quarters every microscopic dust particle comes out, I found. I learn the art of composition from your photo.

Went through much of your work, and still am drawn to this...I think impressionistic, but still very clean somehow. Something tugs at the heart, probably the child like nature and simplicity? Would love to see more if you have it within this genre. You captured much here... :-)

Now this one I DO remember because I liked the simplicity of the shot. I love the black and white tones and the details on the shells. This is the kind of photo that would look pretty printed on antique paper.

Aww - I was a drive-by voter in this challenge. I know that I did NOT see the birds in the background! I love that bokeh! I love the light shining down on the bird in the foreground - it has a great spotlight effect. I bet it was fun to take this photograph and capture the animals at a still moment.
