tranquilityby krnodilComment by Melethia: Woefully underappreciated. I loved this during voting - you got an 8 from me. Pleased to see it brought up again in the TS thread, too. |

Children in the Mistby krnodilComment by Wildcard: This is so cute and pretty and has that lovely innocent childhood fun look to it. It's a lovely shot about the best things of childhood. |

sunlight refrainby krnodilComment by levyj413: Interesting to compare the two. This version is more about light and shadow, with the shapes taking some time to resolve into a cat. I like it, but I like the color one better because it strike me more as an abstraction of a cat, without sharpness to confuse the mind into thinking the details matter. |

MY box...by krnodilComment by levyj413: Ok, first, I understand why DPC gave it a 4.6, starting with many people probably defining "portrait" to mean "staged, with the pet sitting in a perfect position in front of a perfect background."
Feh! I say. The instant I opened it her eyes grabbed me and they never let go. Yeah, the bright pink is a bit distracting, but I think this is a powerful example of cats' power in general and hers specifically. |

pirouetteby krnodilComment by levyj413: I like this, Karen. The lack of sharp focus makes it more about shapes and emotions than the specifics of the actual subject. It just has a nice, graphic feel to it. |
