The design reminds me of the way ice crystals spread on glass, or in this case...stained glass.

I have a feeling that voters are probably knocking this one down for the overexposure, but I really like that about it. The pastel blue/green in the background is beautiful as well. Hope this does well, despite my prediction.

I like the intentional soft focus/OOF of the entire picture. Yet it has enough definition to "figure out" the scene. If you've been on DPC for a while, this might not go over too well with the masses; I think voters will either love it or hate it. Great risky entry, it's one of those very under rated images. Good luck on the voting.

This retains the "feel" of the original well - still has that Alice in Wonderland magic to it. And like many of these, this would make a phenominal batik fabric print. The increasing level of detail as you move in is fascinating.
