1.std flip and blend using difference mode - horizontal, vertical, 90 degrees

2.levels adjustment - bring right slider in to 224

3.curves adjustment - used "increase contrast" preset

4.usm 50%, radius 1, threshold 0

5. resize, save for web

This retains the "feel" of the original well - still has that Alice in Wonderland magic to it. And like many of these, this would make a phenominal batik fabric print. The increasing level of detail as you move in is fascinating.

Oh that is just stunning. I really like the muted tones, and how the blurriness of the edges of the original comes through in the final image.
