Distortion can be pretty ugly with this lens (I've lots of grotesque images to show myself), but keeping the subject centered keeps things under control I think. The low angle helps too. I like this spare reality as only bw can do. Lucky with the comp too if I understand how you shot it, but sometimes that's instinctive too.

Into the mind of the child as he explores and aggregates his space. The wide angle provides the expansive view and lots of room for him to wander.

Wide angle works well here, and probably is the only possible way to get this shot. A bit of crop off the top to remove some space and your set.

A sweet picture of one of those life passages. It's interesting how the wide lens makes whatever's closest to the lens huge (in this case, his left hand).

Very nice setting and great use of color.
My only comment would be to have had the light hit more of the child's face (i.e coming from the front more to get into the hood). But lovely picture ... as a mum I would be terrified that he falls on/down those hard steps :-(, but as a photographer I think the setting is great :-)

Very nice. I could do with a little less on top, too, but the background is wonderful - not distracting but nicely textured and with just a bit of interest.

Terrific colors. I like how the yellow sweatshirt draws your attention to the yellow in the marble stair. Maybe a touch too much wall above his head but all in all a great shot.
